FREE Holiday Parking for Downtown Shoppers

Park for FREE in the Evenings:
Parking is free at any meter in downtown after 5:00p.m. and on weekends. Additionally parking is free in City lots AFTER 5:00 p.m., on weekends, and on City-recognized holidays. Permits are only valid for leased stalls and not for metered stalls. Contact the Parking Services Office for lease information or to add your name to a waiting list.
City Parking Lots:
The City manages three parking lots and offers leased parking in the following lots:
- 4th and Columbia, recently converted into two sections; 3-hour metered spots, and a long term section for all day parking.
- State and Washington, 3-hour and monthly parking available.
- Olympia and Franklin, monthly parking available.
Private Parking Lots:
Monthly, daily, and hourly parking is also available in private parking lots in downtown Olympia. Some private lots offer free parking on weekends and after 5:00 p.m. daily. Read the signs before parking!
